    • 2 group zoom sessions:  Meet the team, meet your fellow Yoga teachers. Before the retreat we like to do a few sessions get to know each other & understand what you need as an individual & as a business.  

    • Your TIME TO SHINE retreat workbook:  A 25 page work book introducing the mentorship programme with the direction & space for you to reflect and prepare for the weekend immersion

    • Community: Working for yourself can feel isolated. From the beginning of this program we give you access to Our Yogastarr mentorship community portal for support, questions, discussion and sharing with other mentor members. Welcome to the team you have been missing.

    • Thought provoking, Idea generating Strategy session: Enjoy a group workshop with Jess and discover simple and powerful ways to market your offerings.

    • dURING:

    • 3-day immersion retreat: This 3 day weekend retreat includes yoga sessions to get us into the right space, group discussions for exploration & knowledge sharing, mentorship workshop and activities to identify and build on your ground breaking discoveries.

    • All-Inclusive: All food & accommodation is included in the price. Menu samples from our talented vegan chef will be shared soon!

    • Heart-lead guidance, Action & Accountability: Enjoy a 1-2-1 session with Alison to talk through your new ideas, review actions and accountability to anchor and ensure results. (60 mins via Zoom)

    • Action-orientated, Practical & Hands-on Mentorship: Enjoy a 1-2-1 session with Deb, our holistic business ops coach, to put a plan in place and ensure you have the right tools for the job to ensure that your new ideas & plans become a working, tangible & sustainable reality. (60 mins via Zoom)

      where are we going?

    • The perfect combination of beautiful location, great facilities and accessibility, set amidst rolling hills of rural Wales. Garth Barns sits nestled in unspoiled and natural beauty in the countryside that surrounds the historic and pretty town of Llanidloes. A world away from it all, deep in the charm of rural Wales and yet easily accessed from Cardiff, London, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham.

    • The two large barn conversions that house the Yoga Shala and all of the accommodation are heated from renewable biomass and the drinking water is from the farm’s own pure spring water source.

      There is a small gym, table tennis and a Finnish sauna. For wild swimmers there is a small lake with Canadian canoes for you to enjoy. The venue is set within 200 acres of farmland with plenty of walks in the hills and valleys right on the doorstep.

      The accommodation is spread across 3 buildings and offers single occupancy doubles/kingsize or twin shared rooms mostly en suite with bedlinen and towels provided.

      This module includes guest appearance from Jess Funke offering smart ways to establish your niche and an introduction to start creating programmes and packages.

      To be held before the retreat via ZOOM Friday 22 April 1pm-5pm.

      This session will be recorded for you. You will have received your 25 page manual in early April and will be required to do some reflective journaling before the first ZOOM session.

    • Boundaries and Ethics and managing your energy

      Difficult students or difficult teachers. Who holds the power? What is your position, how do you define your role?

      • Taking care of you and keeping yourself grounded when the going gets tough.
      • Time management, Class and studio expectations and the financial and energetic exchange.
      • Ethical practice based on guiding principles of the Yamas and Niyamas.
    • Embodying Abhyása – steady effort in the direction you wish to go.

      How can you move from knowledge to action. Monetize and grow your business:

    • A typical day on a Mentorship Immersion retreat at Garth Barns:

    • 7:30-9am Yoga session

      9:15 breakfast

      10:30-1:30 Mentorship module: group discussion, interpersonal activities and reflection

      1:30 Lunch and freetime to enjoy the sauna, take a wild swim in the lake or explore the local footpaths

      Both facilitators will be available for questions during the afternoon

      7pm dinner and the evening to relax or enjoy yoga nidra

      Prices above are inclusive of 3 day retreat, 121 sessions and group sessions via ZOOM.


      A £200 non refundable deposit will secure your place with the balance to be paid by 1 March 2022. No payment is required until you have been accepted onto the Mentorship Retreat Immersion programme.

    • There are limited places on the programme. In order to complete the application process please confirm that you have completed a 200hr teacher training course (or will be finished) by the end of April 2022 and that you are ready to commit to the retreat and the digital sessions and contribute with an open mind to each aspect of the programme.
